I am an amature, but I have sold a bit of my work. I am not studying and I never have so you could say I'm self taught in photography and I've alway drawn stuff :) I work full time so when I get a chance I head out and get shots, usually before or after work. My time keeping and organizational skill are shabby to say the least lol but I'll get better.
I live in Perth Western Australia, and I love it here. I got my own house and I'm renovating so that puts just a bit more pressure on me, but its all worth it.
People aske me "what sort of photography do you do " or " what sort of art do you do". The short answer is 'I do anything'. I don't want to limit myself at all so I just jump in and see if it works :)
I learn something new almost everyday these days, and I love it!
I'm pretty modest so I've been told, but I don't think that will ever change. I don't think it's up to me to decide if I'm good or not - everything is different to everyone- you either like it or you don't :)
If I have an overall goal... It would be to have my own Gallery!! I've wanted that since highschool when everyone's 'supposed to know' what they want to do in life and what they want to become. I never thought I'd even sell anything, I just want to display my stuff and have people look at it :D

Wow I didn't realize how long its been!
Anyway I've uploaded some stuff and ppl seem to like it, so maybe I'll keep this up :)
I've grown a lot as a photographer in only a matter of moths - But I have ages to go. Been very lucky too - I'm now employed as a Real Estate photographer and I'm shooting models too - plus all the strange stuff I come up with haha

I am in need of some more publicity and the best way to do that is by entering in Arts Festivals ( which I'm doing now for the first time, wish me luck) or just sharing on sites like this or facebum :)

Ok so, my first real model shoot worked out great despite how nervous I was. The makeup artist, the model and the store who supplied the jewellery were all very happy and impressed with my work so I couldn't be more glad! Since then I've also been contacted by a few other people, including another model, wanting me to do their shots!! Cool beans!
I'm still working on the design for the mural I've been asked to create, although now I think it's going to be more of a large canvas, but we'll see. That one is definately keeping my busy.
And also I have sold two large prints of a couple of my Nature shots, to a lady who seems to love my work! H
